DESCRIPTION:Reserve your seat to glaze a unique\, one-of-a-kind stoneware piece.  We have limited supplies of various stoneware pieces\, starting at $30 + tax.  Unlike our regular bisque\, these pieces are made from high fire stoneware clay\, which is oven\, microwave\, freezer\, and dishwasher safe along with their trending farmhouse appeal.  \nYour deposit is non-refundable but will be applied to the stoneware pottery piece selected the day of.  IMPORTANT:  If you are unable to attend\, please notify us by email or phone before your event.  No Shows will not receive a refund or credit. \n\nThis workshop is by reservation only and a deposit is required. \nWhat is included: \n\nthe choice stoneware piece(s); to be selected the day of\nchoice of high fire glazes\ninstruction from our team of Creatologists\nsips & sweets; you are always welcome to BYOB\n\nYour deposit is non-refundable. IMPORTANT:  If you are unable to attend\, your deposit will be applied towards a future event providing you have notified us before the event starts. \nHere is what to expect on the day of the event: \nStep 1: Select Your Stoneware Piece \nThis can be the hardest part! We have our popular stoneware serving bowls + a variety of mugs and  to select from.  Prices start at $44 + tax.  Your deposit ($25) will be applied towards the piece selected. \nStep 2: Paint Your Piece \nOur team of Creatologist will give you a tutorial on how our specialty high fire glaze work.  We have several color combinations to choose from and no two are alike – this is the nature of high fire stoneware. \nStep 3: We Fire It \nWhen you’re done\, leave everything and we’ll clean up! How cool is that? We fire stoneware in-house\, this is the behind-the-scenes magic. Pieces are food safe\, microwave\, freezer and oven safe and will be ready to pick up in two weeks. \nPlease be sure to read our Terms & Conditions regarding your payment and our cancellation policies. Your payment is non-refundable. \n\nTerms and Conditions \nWalls of Clay has proudly served downtown McKinney for 24+ years. Our practices\, policies\, and procedures are designed to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. The following terms and conditions outline the guidelines for participation in our workshops and events. By registering\, you agree to these terms. \nGeneral Policies \n\nNon-Refundable Purchases: All purchases are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled event\, you must notify us by email at info@wallsofclaymckinney.com or by phone at (972) 547-4472 prior to the event. With proper notification\, a credit will be issued to your account for future use.\n\nNo Shows: Failure to notify us or attend the event will result in forfeiture of your payment. No refunds or credits will be provided.\n\n\nCredits: Credits issued for missed events do not expire and may be used for any workshop or open studio session. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash.\nKiln-Fired Arts Disclaimer: Due to the nature of kiln-fired art\, occasional imperfections\, cracks\, or other unexpected outcomes may occur during the firing process. While we take every precaution\, some factors are beyond our control. In the rare event your piece is damaged during firing\, we will issue a credit along with our sincerest apologies.\n\nSpecialty Items \n\nSpecialty items include techniques or materials not available during regular studio hours (e.g.\, themed techniques\, specialty glazes\, glass\, and clay projects).\nYour purchase for these events is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend\, notify us prior to the event to receive a credit for a future workshop or open studio.\nFinished items must be picked up within 30 days of notification. Unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.\n\nDeposits \n\nDeposits for events are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend due to a schedule conflict\, emergency\, illness\, or weather-related issue\, notify us before the event via phone or email. Your deposit will be converted into a credit for future use during open studio hours.\n\nRegistration Fees \n\nRegistration fees are non-refundable. However\, you may transfer your registration to another individual by notifying us in advance.\nIf the event is full and we can fill your spot\, we will convert your registration fee to a credit for future use.\n\nClay Hand Building Items \n\nFinished clay hand building pieces must be picked up within 30 days of notification. After 30 days\, unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.\n\nAlcohol Policy (If Applicable) \n\nBy participating in an event involving alcohol\, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older and will consume alcoholic beverages responsibly.\nWalls of Clay attendees are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe\, responsible means of transportation before leaving the studio. Anyone believed to be intoxicated before entering the studio may be denied entry.\nOur team is dedicated to your safety. If we feel you are intoxicated or impaired\, Walls of Clay LLC will take the following steps to ensure your safety and those around you:\n\nSeek a designated driver.\nIf no driver is available\, we will ask for the contact information of someone who can pick you up.\nIf no one is available\, we will call Uber or Lyft\, your choice.\nIf you refuse steps 1\, 2\, and 3\, we will call 911 and let law enforcement handle the situation.\n\n\n\nGeneral Release \n\nPictures and videos may be taken during workshops and events for use in Walls of Clay’s marketing and advertising efforts\, both in print and online.\n\nAuthorization for Emergency Medical Attention \n\nBy accepting these terms\, you authorize Walls of Clay and its staff to administer general first aid for minor injuries or illnesses. In the event of a life-threatening emergency\, you authorize Walls of Clay to summon emergency personnel and provide necessary medical care\, including treatment by licensed professionals. You accept financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.\n\nLiability Waiver \n\nBy participating in a workshop or event\, you agree to release\, defend\, indemnify\, and hold harmless Walls of Clay LLC\, its employees\, agents\, officers\, and directors from any claims\, damages\, or injuries arising directly or indirectly from your participation or that of a minor child.
