Whether you’re creating a personalized necklace\, bracelet\, key charm\, bag charm\, or set of wine charms\, you’ll leave with pieces that are completely unique to you. \nThis hands-on workshop combines creativity\, craftsmanship\, and a touch of charm-bar magic. Starting with a clay slab\, you’ll cut\, shape\, and glaze your own ceramic charms before we professionally kiln-fire and assemble them into your finished keepsake. \nUnlike polymer clay or air-dry projects\, these are real ceramic charms that are kiln-fired for a lasting\, professional finish. \nDuring the workshop\, our team will guide you step by step through the process. Choose from a variety of miniature cutters and clay tools\, then personalize your charms with colors and designs that reflect your style. \nHow It Works \n• Create your charms from a clay slab\n• Cut\, shape\, and refine your designs\n• Paint your pieces using our glaze palette\n• Leave them with us for kiln firing\n• Return approximately three weeks later to pick up your professionally assembled finished pieces \nWhat’s Included \n• One clay slab\n• All tools and materials\n• Step-by-step instruction and design guidance\n• Kiln firing and professional finishing\n• Your choice of one finished style. Available options: necklace\, bracelet\, keychain/bag charm\, set of wine charms.  Gold or silver finishes available for most fittings\n• 7 charms for necklace\, bracelet\, key charm\, or bag charm options\n• 8 charms for wine charm sets \nHelpful Tips \nWe recommend arriving with a few design ideas in mind. Search “ceramic charms” or “clay charms” on Pinterest or Google before the workshop and save a few favorites for inspiration. We’ll also have plenty of examples and ideas available in the studio. \nWith only 8 seats available\, this workshop tends to fill quickly. Advance registration is required. \nTerms and Conditions \nWalls of Clay has proudly served downtown McKinney for 25+ years. Our practices\, policies\, and procedures are designed to ensure every guest enjoys an exceptional experience. The following terms and conditions outline the guidelines for participation in our workshops and events. By registering\, you agree to these terms. \nGeneral Policies \n\nNon-Refundable Purchases: All purchases are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend your scheduled event\, you must notify us by email at info@wallsofclaymckinney.com or by phone at (972) 547-4472 prior to the event. With proper notification\, a credit will be issued to your account for future use.\n\nNo Shows: Failure to notify us or attend the event will result in forfeiture of your payment. No refunds or credits will be provided.\n\n\nCredits: Credits issued for missed events do not expire and may be used for any workshop or open studio session. Credits cannot be redeemed for cash.\nKiln-Fired Arts Disclaimer: Due to the nature of kiln-fired art\, occasional imperfections\, cracks\, or other unexpected outcomes may occur during the firing process. While we take every precaution\, some factors are beyond our control. In the rare event your piece is damaged during firing\, we will issue a credit along with our sincerest apologies.\n\nSpecialty Items \n\nSpecialty items include techniques or materials not available during regular studio hours (e.g.\, themed techniques\, specialty glazes\, glass\, and clay projects).\nYour purchase for these events is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend\, notify us prior to the event to receive a credit for a future workshop or open studio.\nFinished items must be picked up within 30 days of notification. Unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.\n\nDeposits \n\nDeposits for events are non-refundable. If you are unable to attend due to a schedule conflict\, emergency\, illness\, or weather-related issue\, notify us before the event via phone or email. Your deposit will be converted into a credit for future use during open studio hours.\n\nRegistration Fees \n\nRegistration fees are non-refundable. However\, you may transfer your registration to another individual by notifying us in advance.\nIf the event is full and we can fill your spot\, we will convert your registration fee to a credit for future use.\n\nClay Hand Building Items \n\nFinished clay hand-building pieces must be picked up within 30 days of notification. After 30 days\, unclaimed items will be donated or discarded.\n\nAlcohol Policy (If Applicable) \n\nBy participating in an event involving alcohol\, you confirm that you are 21 years of age or older and will consume alcoholic beverages responsibly.\nWalls of Clay attendees are expected to drink responsibly and ensure they have a safe\, responsible means of transportation before leaving the studio. Anyone believed to be intoxicated before entering the studio may be denied entry.\nOur team is dedicated to your safety. If we feel you are intoxicated or impaired\, Walls of Clay LLC will take the following steps to ensure your safety and those around you:\n\nSeek a designated driver.\nIf no driver is available\, we will ask for the contact information of someone who can pick you up.\nIf no one is available\, we will call Uber or Lyft\, your choice.\nIf you refuse steps 1\, 2\, and 3\, we will call 911 and let law enforcement handle the situation.\n\n\n\nGeneral Release \n\nPictures and videos may be taken during workshops and events for use in Walls of Clay’s marketing and advertising efforts\, both in print and online.\n\nAuthorization for Emergency Medical Attention \n\nBy accepting these terms\, you authorize Walls of Clay and its staff to administer general first aid for minor injuries or illnesses. In the event of a life-threatening emergency\, you authorize Walls of Clay to summon emergency personnel and provide necessary medical care\, including treatment by licensed professionals. You accept financial responsibility for any medical expenses incurred.\n\nLiability Waiver \n\nBy participating in a workshop or event\, you agree to release\, defend\, indemnify\, and hold harmless Walls of Clay LLC\, its employees\, agents\, officers\, and directors from any claims\, damages\, or injuries arising directly or indirectly from your participation or that of a minor child.
