DESCRIPTION:Reserve your seat to glaze a unique\, one-of-a-kind stoneware piece.  We have limited supplies of various stoneware pieces\, starting at $30 + tax.  Unlike our regular bisque\, these pieces are made from high fire stoneware clay\, which is oven\, microwave\, freezer\, and dishwasher safe along with their trending farmhouse appeal.  \nSeats are limited and stoneware is typically not offered during regular open studio because of the uniqueness in glaze\, glaze application\, and high-temperature kiln firing. Your deposit is non-refundable but will be applied to the stoneware pottery piece selected the day of.  IMPORTANT:  If you are unable to attend\, please notify us by email or phone before your event.  No Shows will not receive a refund or credit. \n\nThis workshop is by reservation only and a deposit is required. \nWhat is included:\n\nthe choice stoneware piece(s); to be selected the day of\nchoice of high fire glazes\ninstruction from our team of Creatologists\nsips & sweets; you are always welcome to BYOB\n\nYour deposit is non-refundable. IMPORTANT:  If you are unable to attend\, your deposit will be applied towards a future event providing you have notified us before the event starts. \nHere is what to expect on the day of the event:\nStep 1: Select Your Stoneware Piece \nThis can be the hardest part! We have a variety of stoneware pieces to select from.  Prices start at $30 + tax.  Your deposit ($25) will be applied towards the piece selected. We have a variety of functional pieces including beverageware\, dinnerware\, bakeware\, serving dishes and new; dog bowls. \nStep 2: Paint Your Piece \nOur team of Creatologist will give you a tutorial on how our specialty high fire glaze work.  We have several color combinations to choose from and no two are alike – this is the nature of high fire stoneware. \nStep 3: We Fire It \nWhen you’re done\, leave everything and we’ll clean up! How cool is that? We fire stoneware in-house\, this is the behind-the-scenes magic. Pieces are food safe\, microwave\, freezer and oven safe and will be ready to pick up in two weeks. \nPlease be sure to read our Terms & Conditions regarding your payment and our cancellation policies. Your payment is non-refundable. \nTERMS & CONDITIONS \nWalls of Clay has been in downtown McKinney for 22+ years. Our practices\, policies\, and procedures are fair. Our number one goal is to provide an awesome experience for our guest(s) and our policies allow us to do just that. \nYour deposit is non-refundable. If you are unable to attend for any reason; such as schedule conflict\, emergency\, illness or weather-related\, please notify us by phone at 972.547.4472 or email (info@wallsofclaymckinney.com). You may call or email anytime and be sure to leave a message if it is before/after studio hours. \nCredits do not expire\, NO shows\, however\, will not receive a refund or credit\, your payment will be forfeited in the event you do not notify us. \nDue to the nature of kiln-fired arts\, slight imperfections can occur. And on rare occasions\, kiln-fired pieces can crack\, shatter or do the unexpected during the firing process. While we take every precaution to ensure that this does not happen\, there are some factors that are beyond our control. If a piece cracks or shatters\, a credit will be issued along with a ginormous apology because we hate to see bad things happen to your creations. \nALCOHOL POLICY (if applicable): I agree that I am 21 years of age or older and will consume my alcoholic beverages responsibly. I release and waive any and all claims or action that may arise against Walls of Clay LLC\, its affiliates\, successors or assigns as well as the owner and employees/contractors as a result of anything which occurs before\, during or after my session including to but not limited to injury\, loss\, theft or damage to any person or property. \nGENERAL RELEASE: Pictures and/or videos may be taken during our workshops to use in print and online marketing/advertising. \nAUTHORIZATION FOR EMERGENCY MEDICAL ATTENTION: By accepting the Terms & Conditions\, I grant my authorization and consent for Walls of Clay and its staff to administer general first aid treatment for any minor injuries or illnesses experienced by the guest/customer/minor. If the injury or illness is life-threatening or in need of emergency treatment\, I authorize Walls of Clay to summon any and all professional emergency personnel to attend\, transport\, and treat the guest/customer/minor and to issue consent for any X-ray\, anesthetic\, blood transfusion\, medication\, or other medical diagnosis\, treatment\, or hospital care deemed advisable by\, and to be rendered under the general supervision of\, any licensed physician\, surgeon\, dentist\, hospital\, or other medical professional or institution duly licensed to practice in the state in which such treatment is to occur. I agree to assume financial responsibility for all expenses of such care. \nLIABILITY WAIVER: I hereby release\, hold harmless\, defend and indemnify Walls of Clay LLC and its employees\, agents\, officers\, and directors from any and all damages\, injuries\, claims\, and causes of action which may accrue to or be asserted by me or any minor child of mine arising directly or indirectly out of my minor child’s participation in a workshop.
